Sample Protocols Core Protocols

Continuum core vaccines are available in a variety of antigen combinations to give you more flexibility. The protocols below present three options for administering these 3-year core vaccines and show how to start puppies on 3-year protocols. Your choice of protocol may be based on which other vaccines (eg, Lyme, RESP, Lepto, etc) the patient requires and which protocol best meets the needs of your clinic.

Core Protocols

DAP = Canine distemper, canine adenovirus-2, parvovirus
DAP-R = Canine distemper, canine adenovirus-2, parvovirus, rabies virus
DA = Canine distemper, canine adenovirus-2
P = Parvovirus
